Hello MAES Familia, Our First General Body Meeting ( GBM ) was a success, thank you to all the attendees - I hope to see everyone more involved with MAES... A quick recap of the First GBM, we went over HENAAC - which is a great opportunity to get an internship and network, talked about our next social event which will be announced on our Facebook page, so make sure to join the MAES Group and Like the MAES page. We also talked about how to get more involved with MAES, keep in mind that you do not have to be a Latino or STEM major to join; MAES has a lot of outreach events - this is when we go to elementary schools to teach kids about STEM and to show children what STEM is about.
