Hello MAES Familia,
We would like to thank everyone that came out for our annual Science Extravaganza (SciEx) event, this year was very special as we had the CEO of Aerospace Corporation, Steve Isakowitz, as our keynote speaker. One of the main focuses of this event is to introduce the younger generation of students to STEM. At SciEx we had a variety of volunteers so that the students may interact with multiple individuals, we had college students with many different disciplines and professionals within the workforce.
Through MAES, we hope to impact all fields of the STEM workforce - with one workshop at a time and in total we have interacted with more than 3,500 students with this year alone.
